Scenario of manufacturing, drawing as a coordinator.​ ​
​ ​I always try to smile a little bit.

While aiming to achieve the delivery date, we will strictly maintain quality and reduce costs. Management of three processes that are important for manufacturing is handled. We will do our best to meet customer expectations and do our best in a limited time, designing, manufacturing and purchasing in the factory. My job is to draw a scenario of manufacturing as a coordinator who stands in the meantime. Before ordering, in order to promise to customers we can deal with possible deadlines. After receiving the order, in order to select the best way to minimize the influence on the delivery date, aggregate the information on the manufacturing site quickly even if unexpected events occur. Everyone in customer, sales, design, manufacturing, purchasing is convinced and I always think that I want to be able to move positively, "I can do something!" I also try to get in touch with a smile. I think that adjustment of the delivery date is actually a coordination between people and people. How can you draw out each other's emotions and information. At first I felt sorry but I have to tell you what I should tell you, and I thought that a little bit extraordinary is necessary, and I gradually got acquainted.

In addition to process control and cost control, planning of production plans is also an important mission of the production control department. We are now entrusted with the preparation of data on sales performance necessary for planning and the analysis of data. How many product instruments are sold and how much is the cost ratio? In addition to updating to the latest information by quoting past materials, as well as what kind of data should be used, how to make accurate and easy-to-understand materials, I am devising my own way. To put it a bit more frankly, the production plan should set the goal of what Kawata is a manufacturing expert and how far it can be. To that end, we believe that if we can clarify the reasons we can and can not do on a daily basis. I think that it is the same for all of our employees to feel that I am in doubt that "I am still not the best" or "I should be able to do more". So from now on, I will keep doubts one by one and make my company clearer as well.

My "solution" episode

Production management never negotiates directly with customers, nor do they design or make equipment themselves. If it is possible to do something it is always indirect, so it may be somewhat modestly realistic that "I did a great job!" But, for example, it is very rewarding to judge how to respond to requests for quick delivery, estimate and specification, manufacturing, inspection, shipping, which process has "adjust". It is to find employees' "Gambari" on business scene such as sales, design, purchasing, manufacturing and so on, and it will become Kawata's "growing myself" companywide. It is a pleasant moment to achieve the goal without wasting everyone's cancer, and to say "Thank you!" To each other.

The reason why I chose Kawata

Originally from Shikoku, I was hoping for employment at the beginning at the local, but from the professor of the university was introduced as "It's a nice company so please go once." It began with that encounter and has reached now. The meaning of a good company, after joining the company, began to realize immediately. There are many, but I especially like the point that it is easy to assert my opinion that "I want to do something like this". That is an important thing, and it is rooted firmly as a good corporate style.

What I want to challenge from now on

It is to quicken the delivery date response before the order and lead to earlier order entry. If you are more familiar with each process and product equipment in manufacturing, you will be able to answer to some extent assuming the delivery date at my stage. I am aware that it is difficult, but I think that we can approach such existence even a little. Another thing I would like to challenge to visualize the trend of company-wide order-receiving equipment in the system. In addition to numerical values as well as graphs, in any process, "Kawata's manufacturing right now" can be understood, the imagination to prepare for the busy season and to pre-adjust is born, and the creativity of better manufacturing I think that it will increase. Since the manager has already gotten a proposal to the system department, I would like to realize by making the best use of his possession.
